Portland Auto Repair

I can't say enough positive things about Ed, Phyllis, or the rest of the staff at Heckmann and Thiemann. We have been taking our cars to them for service for 25+ years and have always received great service with positive communications. They outdid themselves this week though. I had my Porsche in for an electrical issue this week and got the usual great service. I picked the car up at the end of the day and was driving home when I had a different mechanical issue that left me disabled by the side of the road. The AAA towing wait times were over 2 hours and I contacted Phyllis to see if they had any suggestions. Not only was she able to find a tow truck that would arrive in 30 minutes but they stayed at the shop for several hours after closing so that I wouldn't have to leave the car on the street. I doubt that there are very many repair shops in Portland that would go to these lengths for a customer. I cannot recommend this shop highly enough.

Been the go to place for me, I can always expect to have any problems diagnosed and repaired correctly and professionally. Love the online followup on diagnostics, and the new shop is fantastic. And again, fine craftsmanship in repairs.

Wow! took my VW in for service and it comes back running the best in years. Great service and super friendly folks, thank you for taking such good care of our family heirloom.

The diagnostic work was top notch, the repair work was done on time, the components used were of the highest quality, and there were no cost overruns. The cherry on top was that everyone was very friendly; an amazing find. Highly recommended.
