Great people, great shop. I use them exclusively for the service and work on my 2000, 911 Cabriolet. They are knowledgeable, friendly, helpful, and straight up. Their inspection reports are thorough and give a full list of the items in spec and out. They are easy to communicate with and they will keep you informed on the status and the schedule of the job at hand. No pressure at all.

Good work but responding via text outlining the work made communication about additional work difficult. Talking on the phone in lieu of texting makes back and forth communication difficult.

These guys were wonderfully accommodating of the dumping of my overheated basket case 2014 911 turbo on their doorstep with only an hour's notice. Then they continued to smile when I drove off with the key fob when picked up by my wife, leaving them to work around the car just at closing prep time. More importantly, they located and repaired the problem and did a few other "while they were at it" things such as new coils, maf and throttle body cleaning, etc. Communication during the repairs was timely and clear. The car was finished on time and at slightly less cost than estimated - these two points are almost never seen anymore, so I was most pleased. I have found a favorite shop!

Great shop with great guys! Ed and Phyllis Thiemann have assembled a great team that acted as the general contractor for my build. It took more than two years but the result was well worth it.

I trust Heckmann & Thiemann with my Porsches for years whenever I need repair or service. They always seemed to know exactly what the problem is, and take time to check thoroughly & explain. What an A-team with the quality, professionalism & value, using top quality parts at reasonable costs! Thank you Phyllis! Dominique! Adam! (Office Mgr, Service Mgr, Expert Technician)

Always the best service! The staff is so great to deal with. They manage my expectations which is a rare thing these days. Couldnt say enough how much I appreciate them.

Visiting from Montana, I was concerned about driving back from Portland because of clunking when turning my Audi. Phyllis and her staff helped me out by fitting me in to their busy schedule and taking a thorough look at my car. They found the issue and referred me to another reputable business who could fix my car and get me on the road. Multiple serious issues were discovered while repairing what H&T found. I am forever grateful for Phyllis willingness to make sure my car was safe. I highly recommend this professional and experienced company and their kindness.

A Company with very courteous, professional and friendly team members who are extremely knowledgeable about their business. Prompt and efficient! Dedicated and understanding! I was very satisfied with the level of service and advice I received starting with Phyllis, who was courteous and very helpful on the phone. Then Adam, who was also very kind and gave me invaluable, friendly yet professional feedback and advice on my car. Thank you all so much! Highly recommended!

H&T acted as the general contractor for my 2009 Porsche Carrera S. Unusually my DFI 9A1 engine had bore scoring causing me to put in a quart of oil every 250 miles. So I had the engine enlarged to 4.0 L and a Fabspeed exhaust installed. After LN engineering rebored the cylinders Steve Becker, formerly with Andial for years, rebuilt the engine. The 2009 S did not have a LSD from Porsche or Wavetrac so I found a Guards Transmission torque-biasing diff instead. Rothsport Road & Race did some additional machining on the diff to get it to work correctly. Thanks to Adam and Rashawn (and Bryan) for overseeing the entire project and Tony coming in at the end a putting everything back together. Ed and Phyllis are the best. I've been going to H&T since I had a 1980 VW Rabbit Cabriolet. Always great and they never got tired of me coming in weekly to check on progress.

Best mechanics in Portland--maybe in all of Oregon
