Had some troubles with my 61 356 Porsche Roadster as I was on a road trip from LA to Seattle. I tried and tried to resolve the problem as I carry a lot of tools with me, I finally figured out that my electronic distributor has probably gone bad as I pretty much checked every other thing it could be. I was about midpoint through Oregon in the car finally gave out. I called AAA, which amazingly this time they were totally on time and got me to Heckman & Thiemann motors before they closed, which was amazing. When I got to their shop, they are busy, busy busy, and they were gracious enough to drop me in the front of the line to help me out. I got another distributor next day air from the company that built my engine. The very next morning Heckman & Thiemann motors got on it, not only got the distributor replaced, but did a once over on everything and fixed up a few other things… These guys are awesome and all this at a reasonable price. I really want to put an extra thank you out to Phyllis and her crew for doing everything they did. I literally got in the driveway, maybe 20 minutes ago. The car ran as good or better than it ever has with zero issues thank you again and we’ll see you around… Cheers… Jim.
