I am a real car guy, who performs basic maintenance on my cars. I have had a litany of German cars in my 57 years, and I have used almost every shop locally, and, only when necessary, dealerships in the area. I can honestly say that H&M is the best in the area for Porsches. When my A/C went out, the dealership said I needed an entirely new AC system, to the tune of $8K. They showed me photos of the dryer vent with what they claimed were metal shavings as proof. H&M shook their heads and doubted they were metal shavings and figured, let's try to change the compressor oil and put in new refrigerant, what's the harm in trying? 20K miles later, still working perfectly. Later, we encountered a failed high-pressure fuel pump, as well as an oil leak, in my wife's Cayenne diesel. Instead of tackling it on their own, they suggested that I first check with Porsche to see if these were covered items under the Dieselgate warranty. YES, both turned out to be covered!! I can honestly say H&M saved me well into the 5 digits in service costs! They have given me rides home after dropping off the car, and they always take the time to explain things and options we have. They do great work, and the customer service is second to none. You would be crazy to take your Porsche, VW, Merc, or BMW elsewhere. Bravo to these guys, I wish I had found them 20 years ago!!!
