Love this shop! I have a new (used) Audi and I'm so happy to have an awesome place to take it to for care in SE Portland. I really feel that these guys, and Norma, have got my back!

Outstanding! Simply, outstanding!

My family and I were on a road trip to California from Washington and started having serious brake issues. I called Heckmann and Thiemann Motors and Phyllis said to pull in they would help us out. It was Friday at 1:00 and their whole team worked hard (and late!) to get us on our way. They were so incredibly nice and helpful. I would recommend them to anyone! Thank you Phyllis!!

If only I could make it 6 stars... My family and I were passing through Portland on our vacation when we started having trouble with our brakes. We called midday on a Friday with no appointment, but Phyllis said to drop in and they would help us out. It looked like their whole team of mechanics went to work on our Vanagon and everyone stayed late to finish up and help us get on our way. Customer service and hospitality were top notch! I highly recommend them!

Very helpful and accommodating during an unexpected breakdown. They use modern technology for inspection and diagnostic reporting that makes it easy to see and understand the issues that needed to be addressed. I've been a customer for over ten years.

The customer service at Heckmann & Thiemann is UNPARALLELED! 1) i feel like they care as much about my Scarlett (classic 77 pink VW bug that has been in my family since 77) as I do; 2) the amount and level of communication is phenomenal - emails with detailed inspection reports that include pictures and a call to follow up to go over the report with you, text messages with status changes. 3) every single person i have spoken to here has been extremely polite and professional; so refreshing and joyous! 4) the shop is immaculate! I am jealous of the front desk team that gets to watch those gorgeous cars roll in and out all day.

Great place. Professional, friendly staff. I have owned two Jetta’s over then span of maybe a decade and always taken my car here, both locations. There was a one-off bad experience when a repair didn’t really fix my issue and caused some heartburn, but that was awhile ago and it really felt like an isolated incident from one particular person. I went back just recently and it was a very pleasant experience. Really cool shop, super friendly staff, and my car is running smooth.
