The customer service at Heckmann & Thiemann is UNPARALLELED! 1) i feel like they care as much about my Scarlett (classic 77 pink VW bug that has been in my family since 77) as I do; 2) the amount and level of communication is phenomenal - emails with detailed inspection reports that include pictures and a call to follow up to go over the report with you, text messages with status changes. 3) every single person i have spoken to here has been extremely polite and professional; so refreshing and joyous! 4) the shop is immaculate! I am jealous of the front desk team that gets to watch those gorgeous cars roll in and out all day.

Great place. Professional, friendly staff. I have owned two Jetta’s over then span of maybe a decade and always taken my car here, both locations. There was a one-off bad experience when a repair didn’t really fix my issue and caused some heartburn, but that was awhile ago and it really felt like an isolated incident from one particular person. I went back just recently and it was a very pleasant experience. Really cool shop, super friendly staff, and my car is running smooth.

The team at Heckmann & Thiemann were great to work with. Norma was the service advisor and Scott was the Technician on my 1986 Vanagon project. It is a new vehicle to me and they helped me with a thorough courtesy inspection and putting a plan in place for future services along with what to prioritize. I'm just starting a restoration project and Scott was nice enough to spend plenty of time with me over the phone walking me through his inspection. I felt safe and taken care of during drop-off and pick-up and look forward to working with them both as I bring this van to life.
